At Wilkins Spinal Care, we specialize in a specific Chiropractic technique known as the Pierce Results System (PRS). PRS was founded and developed by Dr. Vernon Pierce of Dravosburg, PA in the late 1950s. PRS requires a chiropractic drop table, and a set of chiropractic hands. There are no twisting or turning motions, and there are no cracking popping sounds. PRS is deemed safe and very effective!
Just like any other chiropractic technique, Pierce Results System has the same purpose: Restore vitality to the human body. The adjustment is a manual technique done by hand (and sometimes with an instrument) that restores communication between the brain and a body part/organ by realigning the dysfunctional joint and removing pressure from the affected nerve. Detecting the misaligned vertebrae is done by conducting a thorough exam that includes neuro, muscular, and skeletal evaluations as well as x-rays to ensure specificity. At Wilkins Spinal Care, we spend sufficient time to detect the specific levels to be adjusted because we will not guess with your health!
At Wilkins Spinal Care, the doctors specialize in non-surgical decompression for low back and neck pain that allows patients to keep working and doing the things they enjoy. Decompression is a clinically proven successful alternative to surgery, drugs and other pain management techniques. Decompression has been a vital part of our practice for 20 years, showing outstanding results for patients with:
- Failed Surgeries
- Back Pain
- Herniated, Bulging and Protruding Disc
- Degenerative Disc Disease
- Facet Syndrome
- Tingling or Burning Sensations
- Leg Pain
- Neck Pain
- Loss of Sensation
Our office specifically utilizes the DRX9000 decompression table to manage patient care. DRX9000 works on the injuries that happen due to nerve compression by applying an equal amount of pressure on the vertebral columns by stretching the spine and creating a gap in between the discs. With improved flow of nutrients through both the vertebral columns of spine, injuries heal slowly and steadily after regular DRX9000 decompression treatment sessions
At Wilkins Spinal Care, we use state-of-the-art equipment to stimulate nerve health and incorporate nutrition and exercise to positively change blood chemistry. For years, Drs. Wilkins and Steinert have evaluated various conditions and recommended treatment courses designed specifically for each patients’ needs.
Treating the body from the inside out addresses vitamin deficiencies, compressed or trapped nerves, and provides increased blood flow to hands, legs, and feet.

Wilkins Spinal Care Can Help!
Having a neuropathy diagnosis doesn’t living with debilitating pain and numbness. Covering symptoms with dangerous and harmful drugs is not the answer. Overprescribed, highly addictive pain medications, anti-seizure, and anti-depressant drugs, only mask the symptoms and put patients at risk of addiction and drug dependency. At Wilkins Spinal Care, we’re not going to mask symptoms— our goal is to correct the cause of the symptoms. Our office has a 90% success rate for neuropathy patients.
This covers a broad range of treatments that includes electric muscle stimulation therapy, myofascial release/trigger point therapy, ultrasound, mechanical traction, custom exercises and hot/cold packs. These all are designed to help complement the chiropractic adjustment in restoring health. These treatments can be very basic to very detailed depending on the needs of the patient and all programs are specific to the patient’s needs!
At Wilkins Spinal Care, we keep up on the best available research and products to better serve our patients. A few years back, we introduced the cervical denneroll designed by the infamous Chiropractic Biophysics Institute. Today’s technological advancements such as cell phones, tablets and computers, have changed the intended structure of the spine due to the “slumped position.” This will often lead to a straightening or complete reversal of the normal cervical curve.
Over the years, we have significant patient improvements for neck pain, spine curvature, and severe chronic headaches. the cervical denneroll Orthotic is a safe and effective way to naturally restore the cervical curve. Here at Wilkins Spinal Care we utilize these as part of our treatment plans and also as a form of home care. Don’t hesitate to ask our doctors if the cervical denneroll Orthotic could be right for you!

CUSTOM ALINE ORTHOTICS
Although patients have heard of Dr. Scholls and Foot Levelers orthotics most people have never heard of the Aline Orthotic brand. Here is the difference between the Aline orthotic and the other two: Dr. Scholls can be done at most pharmacies like Walgreens or Rite Aid. They have an individual step on a scale that measures how much pressure being put on each side of the feet. Determined by the measurements the scanner reads on the feet, it will recommend which orthotic to buy and which be inserted into the shoes that day. Foot Levelers is the same process, the only difference being that they are custom molded to the feet and are very expensive.
The Aline Orthotic on the other hand has one step on a platform as if measuring the feet to figure out what shoe size to buy. Rather than checking how much pressure is put on the feet, it checks the biomechanical structure of how one stands, visually using lasers that line from the feet up to the hips. The purpose of the Aline Orthotic is to remove any unnecessary foot rotation, which will further remove any unnecessary rotation and pain to the knees, hips, low back and even the neck.
We currently sell three different Aline Orthotic brands. Red is used for the average joe. Yellow is used for individuals who have higher activity levels, such as athletes and runners. Green is used specifically for golfers of all levels. Since bringing on Aline, we have never had one person express dissatisfaction with them. In fact, most buyers continue to purchase more when they wear out! Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions about our Aline Orthotics.
